Clinical Psychological Second Opinions

A fresh, whole-person review when questions remain

A clinical second opinion can be helpful when a diagnosis does not fully explain what you or your child is experiencing, treatment has stalled, recommendations conflict, or important patterns may have been overlooked.

Dr. Valerie Braunstein reviews the referral question, relevant history, prior records or testing, current functioning, environment, and other available information. The goal is to offer an independent, whole-person perspective and practical next steps. A second opinion may confirm, refine, or question earlier conclusions; it does not automatically replace another provider’s diagnosis.
