During the first appointment, we’ll talk about what brings you in, start getting to know each other, and discuss your goals for therapy. It’s also a chance to make sure the fit feels right and that this is the best next step for your care.

Skills & Support Groups
Based in Margate, NJ
We offer skills and support in Margate, New Jersey, for children, teens, and adults who may benefit from extra support, skill-building, and connection in a warm and welcoming setting. Guided by a licensed clinical psychologist, and a licensed specialist in the area or focus, our groups help participants feel supported, build confidence, strengthen coping skills, and feel more connected to themselves and others.
Our groups are typically offered in thoughtfully structured 8-session series, giving participants time to learn, practice, and grow. Some specialty groups may run longer based on clinical goals.
Groups are intentionally coled and kept small to support individualized attention, participation, and a comfortable group experience. We offer gender-affirming, LGBTQ+-friendly care across all of our groups. As an out-of-network service, we can provide documentation for possible reimbursement from your insurance.
